Raksha Bandhan
Rakhi is not just a thread, but a sacred bond that beautifully encapsulates the love, care, and protection that siblings share.
The primary section of Loreto Convent School celebrated rakhi on 30th August 2023 with full zeal and enthusiasm. Students of Std I with the help of their teachers organized and participated in the program. The program began with a prayer service followed by a dance. Small children, in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi on the wrist of their brothers and received gifts. Children spoke about the importance of Raksha Bandhan and how the new age Raksha bandhan emphasises both sisters and brothers protecting , helping and loving each other for a better tomorrow.
The program concluded with the Manager, Sr. Joany addressing the students and inspiring them to always cherish this bond of love with their siblings.
The vibrant, colourful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit.
