Guides
Being a girl’s school, Loreto Convent has  adopted Girl Guides programme forty years ago. In this value based programme, the girls are trained to cook, give first aid and participate in social service activities. Girl guides undertake projects like spreading literacy and creating awareness about clean environment. They have a rigorous curriculum where they also learn rope climbing, trekking camping etc., besides social work.

Road Safety Patrol (RSP)
"We live to Serve"
The school is a member of Road Safety Patrol Body.  The students are trained by the traffic police department. These RSP Cadets will learn to help and guide children/adults to cross the road safely outside this institution by observing the safety rules and thereby preventing the road accidents. This training will help them to become better disciplined and responsible citizens in future.

The School Band
The band of Loreto Convent School was started by Sister Josephine in 2004. The NCC students of std VII and VIII are involved in the band. The students are taught to play the bugle, the flute, and the drum and there is a major who commands the whole band.  The band is divided into 3 groups, each containing 17 students and they are being trained twice in a week. They have even taken part in inter school band competitions. At present they are trained by Mr. Brijesh and his group. The band is trained to play different tunes like: Jolly Good Tune, Rajasthani Roll tune, White House tune, Bombay March tune etc.

Already the school band had participated in two competitions organized last year viz. 1) Ward Level and 2) Steady Fast Music Sports Academy, where they stood 3rd, which was a state level competition.

Office Bearers
In our school we have a system of choosing student leaders who represent different houses. They conduct various programmes for their houses as well for the school.  They also help to maintain overall discipline.  This experience gives them exposure to develop the qualities of team spirit, leadership and make them responsible individuals.

Canteen
Once in every month each class from Std V to X organises a canteen with different eatery items wherein the students bring from home and sell it for a very minimal charge in school. The food items are prepared and donated by the parents. The proceeds of this social activity are sent to ‘Centre for Social Action’ in Mumbai at the end of every academic year. This inculcates a sense of value, team spirit organizational skills, above all to reach out the needy who live below the poverty line, among the students.
